OK, we are going all kinds of old-school traditional over here - I shopped and got all the Turkey Day groceries and am now cleaning and preparing to cook like a mad woman, and Dale is doing man stuff like repairing the 6 big holes in my walls from having to fix the HUGE CRACKED PIPE attached to my upstairs bathtub. That was super fun right before having NINE PEOPLE COME STAY AT MY HOUSE. Whenever I turned on the shower, all the water would just run down the wall out of the pipe and then flowed out like a waterfall into my laundry room and garage. Yeah. This week also involved me going to court and paying a $500 ticket (thank GOD they waived the 8 hours of community service, and yes, I know, shut up), then helped my Godmother get through foot surgery and also spent, oh, like 10 grand on water and roof damage to my apartment complex. Im pooped. And have many less dollars. Plumbers are expensive, but Dale saved me about $500 by locating the leak site and cutting/repairing the walls himself. MY HERO. AND...I get to see my BFF (and her family) and my step son, and Darian Troy Archie and go to Disneyland for Black Friday!! Woooohooooo!
