*OKPOTOS WAYWARD LIFE* EPISODE THREE (3) I still cant bare to think that I am no longer a virgin. Whats next? I must try to ensure that no one finds out. Indeed, this is not a thing to be heard of. It sure have to remain a secret between Mrs. Lateefah and I. Nine (9) months passed.... Mrs. Lateefah has put to bed...she gave birth to a baby girl. During the ceremony, Mrs. Lateefahs husband gave a speech. He talked about how proud he is to be a father after hoping for 5 good years. He named the baby Amanda. If only he knew it wasnt even his product. My dad and mum were both present. My mum went to carry the baby then she gave her to me. I refused at first but she insisted. I had to inorder to erase any possibility of letting them know I am the biological father of the baby. I carried the baby from my mum, held her for about a minute and when I was about giving her back, my mum bid me to take her to her mum. Again, I didnt want to go close to Mrs. Lateefah. I hated the very idea of it. Ever since the evil that transpired between us, I have never gone close to her again. I couldnt even stand her. And now... She starred at me as I brought her baby to her. As I did, she whispered to me, Thank you for making it possible for me to have a baby! I didnt answer. As I was about handling the baby, my dad made an observation which shocked me. He said, Oh! The baby looks just exactly like my son, Okpoto! and everyone laughed. I laughed too inorder not to raise any suspicion in my countenance. If only they knew there was an element of truth in what my father had said! I thought aloud! ....WATCH OUT FOR EPISODE FOUR (4)
