OLaG Update: Well, I knew Of Legends and Grace would be a bit of a monster to construct, and shes not disappointing. I was just about spot-on in my assumption of its length, however. As of now, its nearly as long as OPaD, sans editing, and its still waiting for chapter notes from over a year ago to come calling. Itll be around the same size as OWaC, Im guessing. Just perfect for the series hardbound. The fun thing about this whole process is that every book becomes a little lighter on the mind, a little easier to control, and a little more comfortable to organize. I seem to find new ways to build the structure, as well as deviate from it, with less of a brain drain. Theres certainly a trick to this. Its not as easy as one might think. Ive got notes comin from all angles, but its starting to feel a lot more like fun and a lot less like work. I think thats the key to anything in life: Even if youre doing something you enjoy, you better kick a lot of ass at it until it feels like work. Itll feel like fun afterward. Otherwise? You just might have a simple hobby.
