OMG the behaviour by Brian Sampson,Supervisor at San Bernardino - TopicsExpress

OMG the behaviour by Brian Sampson,Supervisor at San Bernardino City Shelter CA is so unacceptable, disrespectful, just rude & obnoxious. How can one conduct business with this attitude, how do the animals get out alive? We often here stories like this, but few a ever shared. Thanks Maria Sanchez for all you do for the animals at SBC.I dont know how you do it day after day,you are amazing.I truly hope changes are coming for SB.(Megan) From Maria Sanchez:From Maria: Brian Sampson called the police on me once again for San Bernardino city ordanance section 9.12.010 Interference with city business by taking this video of him being confronted by a potential adopter after he said shhhh and put his hand in her face. Apparently when I exercised my First Amendment right to free speech, it is illegal inside the lobby of the publicly funded San Bernardino city shelter. LINK TO VIDEO: youtube/watch?v=deFPsb_Bsmk The woman and her husband were inside attempting to adopt Muffin the white pittie puppy, when they were told she had already been adopted at 10:20am. They had been visiting with her for 2 hours before going inside to do the adoption. She asked to speak to a supervisor. Brian Sampson came out and that was when everything went to shit because of his attitude (shocking right?). Rather than apologizing for the inconvenience and offering to take them back out to the kennels to find another dog, he was very rude and just continued to speak over her as she was explaining her concerns to her. That was when he told her shhhh and put his hand in her face. I grabbed my phone and started to video to show his superiors how he handles himself on a regular basis. She explained how she had come to the San Bernardino city shelter because she knew it was a high kill shelter. She asked for him to write his name on a business card, he set it on the counter in front if her and walked back into his office even though she was still mid sentence trying to speak with him. He yelled Im done with you. After a little begging and flashing them my award winning smile, I was able to convince them to go back out to the kennels to take a peek at the other pups. They came back in after a once over and said they were just not into looking around today. The way Brian Sampson handled the situation is the reason so many adopters and rescues choose to go to another shelter. He needs to go. His stupid policies need to go. Why are tax payers paying a salary for an individual like this? I am so upset that I did not get to continue taking photos after the police came. I feel like my rights were violated today. Can anyone please confirm this? What recourse do I have? Link to video:https://youtube/watch?v=deFPsb_Bsmk
