OMG, this is like Christmas morning to me! Thank you so much - TopicsExpress

OMG, this is like Christmas morning to me! Thank you so much Bradley for the heads up about this! I dont even care what the neighbors think anymore, I have this cranked! Oh, how good it is to hear them! Knowing that Levon picked the songs and designed the album cover before he left us makes me laugh, cry, and RELEASE! Its the way I felt the first time I heard When I Go Away in so many ways. I swear, it is like getting a message from his spirit up there to all of us down here. Its like we are all his heirs and this is the fruit of his estate that we all get an equal share, and its up to us what we do with it. Will this be something you blow, maybe not even click play, or will you treasure it, and invest it, and share it with your friends and families? Consider all the material he had to choose from! Think about how much Levon knew about putting together a set list, and how hard he worked for his legacy. Thank You Levon, for what you left behind. Thank you for Aint in it for My Health - how brave. Thank you for your civic mindedness, and the way you always cared about each and every fan you ever played for, you played to each of us with intent and purpose to be the best he could be - and not just every set. Levon was all in on every SONG of ever set. It is manna from The Angel Band because it feeds your spirit via Levon. Instead of reaching several hundred people at a time at the Ramble, his spirit now soars to each one of us right where we are... and we are Legion. Levon took care of every loose end he possibly could, and am writing this as I hear these songs for the first time in this grouping and release, and I am even more humbled by the effect this man and this music has had in my life. Brian singing Bobs Simple Twist of Faith, Amy singing Aint that the Good News and I have chills and tears. God bless you all who helped him make this amazingly special gift. I will wear this out, I can already tell. Its not even half way through and I am in love all over again. Levon was fearless, and so were the guys, because they trusted him, too. They are seasoned players, but the common thread is Levon. That is inherently apparent with this. Damn, you know Levon is smiling like he was did at Happys Day as we are all discovering this Last Bow sessions. He truly did think of all of us, and the guys helped him fulfill that dream. It dont get much better than this. One More Shot was such a revelation! I have loved it since it came out on White Mansions from 1978! Hardly anyone heard it. It has never sounded better. I am sure I will slobber on, but here it is for you!
