OMG, what a great night we had for Mums Fundraiser at Copacabana Int. I cant begin to explain how overjoyed and overwhelmed as a family we are with the turn out last night and the amount of support we received. I truly believe your love, support and high spirits lifted mum to greater heights which allowed her to have the energy to stay longer than expected and even managed to dance!!!! the joy we had to see her dancing, I am forever grateful guys!!!!!!!! I want to thank first and foremost my lovely siblings Lorena Galvez, Sandra Galvez-Stewart, Victor Galvez and my sister in law Nataly who worked tiredlessly with me in organising the event and to put the best show possible for your enjoyment not to mention all the crazy running around on the night. I would also like to extend my thanks to Sean Rankine for all his wonderful help and support not only last night but from the very beginning, he has shown to be a wonderful support and friend, you have definitely earned the title of mums angel ;-) Also, thank you so much to my wonderful friends Tram Nguyen, Amaresh Wardha, Chris Vesper, Karl Walsh, Enjie Paras, Dexter Gerard, Antoinette and Doris Venegas who happily offered to help last night with selling raffle tickets, setting up, filming, photography, Djing and helping at the door, your contribution through the night will not be forgotten, love u guys. To the dancers, the show was amazing!!! Loved the diversity in styles and the hip hop crews, wow! Loved it!!! From the Latin corner, thank you to: Ludmilla Dhani Wulandari and Robin from Spin City, Manuel Candela Vaca and Florencia Rodriguez-Vaca from Candela Dance, Jean-Claude JC and Tracey from Urgan Zouk, Lukas Enciso and Sky Blue. From the Hip Hop and B Boy corner, thank you Cecilia OKelly for organizing Superhoodz and thank you guys for donating your time and showcasing ur talent, also big thank to A2D, J-Step and Kings Only Crew for your support, everyones performances where amazing!!!!!! Big thanks also to Didi from Copacabana, we couldnt have done it without you, your generosity and support throught out the entire planning process and thanks so much for the surprise act from Chantal Turro Martinez and Eric Turro, always enjoy ur performances, such class and style! Thank you to Julio Pereira YsuBanda Peligro and Amber Walker for sharing your beautiful voices with us all. Also to our MCs for the night Pamela and Kerry from Compania Nocturna RadioFm , amazing job you guys, thank you so much. Thank you to all the businesses who kindly donated items for the raffles and silent auctions, too many to mention here. Lastly, thank you to all our family and friends who helped spread the word and brought people together to support us by attending the event. Your attendance, love and support made this a success and for that, we thank you. I do apologize if I have forgotten anyone but you all know who you are, thank you all. We will let you know shortly how much we managed to raise and will keep you posted via the Marinas Journey page with mums progress.
