OMG – OMG – OMG!! Check out our ADORABLE new boy, Charlie, who joined the LR family today. This cutie pie was born on 11/13/13, so he is 9 months old. He is a long-legged, lanky Dudley Lab with a sweet disposition and outgoing personality. Charlie was relinquished to LR by a family that adopted him from a private party a couple of months ago. Sadly, their other Lab didn’t like Charlie, so they did the right thing and turned Charlie over to LR so we can find him the wonderful home he so deserves. Charlie was originally adopted from a Pet Store according to his microchip history. Charlie lived with 2 children, the youngest being 3 years old, and allowed them to hang all over him and smother him with love. On the release application, the owner said Charlie is a super sweet and spunky yellow Dudley Labrador. He loves all people and all dogs. He is crate trained, walks well on the leash and rides nice in the car. Charlie does a wonderful sit and has just recently mastered shake. He is housebroken and likes cats. He is supposedly non-aggressive towards cats, although we were told he will chase when the cat runs, so any prospective family will have to be understanding and willing to work with that. Charlie’s evaluation was done at a dog park, and he did FANTASTIC with the 4 dogs that greeted him when he arrived - check out the picture of him hanging with the Bassett Hound and Golden Retriever. He got along well with males and females, large and small. He enjoyed chasing the ball, but was more interested in the other dogs and sniffing around. He will certainly be an amazing addition to a family that has the proper time to dedicate to a young pup.
