ON APC, BUHARI AND THE HULLABALOO. Am afraid APC as a Party is lawless and gangsterish. I had a stint work in APC and without prejudice or bias I can say APC does not believe in following rules even where and when the rules are set by the Party itself. As a student of Political Science, History and Law, am yet to come across a Party that is clueless confused and desperate as All Progressive Congress. Starting with the Name, the party is expected to be a coalition of PROGRESSIVES and strictly progressives. Unfortunately, no sooner than the Party was formed than it began wooing the CONSERVATIVES. Could Alhaji Atiku Abubarkar be seen as Progressive? How about Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, Rotimi Amaechi to mention a few be seen as Progressives? It is not a progressive Party after all. Today we have more of the conservatives in the cloak of Progressive, Goats in sheeps clothing you would say. Again, is the situation and circumstances surrounding her Ward, Local Government and State congresses. In Ogun State for instance, The progressives in APC were forced to move out sequel to APC deviance and inconsistence in adhering to its own rule as stipulated in its Constitution and Congress guidelines. There were recorded and cited similar cases of gross disrespect for rules and guidelines. Little wonder why General Muhamadu Buhari did not bother about the need to adhere to the National Electoral act by attaching his Credentials.
