ON BEHALF: URGENT Adoption needed! These two lovely cows, Molly (black Freisian X Jersey) and Sheba (white faced Hereford on the left in photo with her son) desperately need a home! The lady owner has had an awful time of it, and over the years these two girls have kept her going, and she loves them dearly. Her landlord has made life so difficult for her, and for them... he even pretended they had been sent for slaughter, causing terrible stress but she then tracked them down and he gave her notice to get rid of them. She has luckily found a grazier who has kindly let them stay temporarily but with being forced to move into town, she knows this cannot carry on long term. She lives in Raglan township now, and would love someone to adopt her two tame cows in the Raglan area if possible. Molly is 9, and Sheba is 8. Both have had calves in the past, are dairy cows, and both love being groomed and cuddled etc, something which she is still prepared to do and would love to visit and still care for them. When she had to leave they both called and bellowed out to her, as she left in tears and said goodbye. They are TB free, and next test is due in October, which she is prepared to pay for and organise. They are worth alot of money, have good lines, and all she asks for is a good home and a donation of $100 per cow to go to LARA rescue, on her behalf. I said this wasnt necessary, but she insisted I do this, to not only help find homes for her two ladies, but any other cows that might need our care in the future. PLEASE can anyone help, by adopting these two together and giving them a home anywhere around the Raglan area or shortish drive away, so she can stay in touch with these girls who helped her get through so many traumas.
