TO MAKE the claim of being a Christian and then slandering a fellowman is committing a fraudulent act. Being Christlike and following the principles of evil are diametrically opposed, and when the HOUSE OF GOD is used as the spawning ground and the diving board for such idolatry, the FATHER- HEART OF GOD is grieved. There seems to be the rapidly-multiplying trend of envy, verbal attack and assault, backbiting, sowing of discord, harmful gossip and even violent confrontation where clergy are both attacked, oppressed, and undressed to the satisfaction of the perpetrators! Where cliques rail against each other, and bring the whole fabric of the HOUSE OF PRAYER into disrepute! A literal den of thieves! AT SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES! WHITHER has GOOD MANNERS fled? WHITHER the fear of the LORD who commands.-Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm. Psalms 105:15. WERE it not for the soothing truth and comfort of Gods word, wounded soldiers would lay down their arms and give free reign to these impostors: without adherence to the HARD SAYINGS of Jesus, there would be neither progress nor hope! PRAYER FATHER GOD, we need YOUR assistance in the carrying out of YOUR blessed commands: YOU said that we are to love our enemies: support us with this, LORD. YOU say that we must bless them that curse us: Yes Lord: a loving response to an abhorrent action: YOU advise us to do good to them that hate us, and with YOUR guidance, we can, and will: YOU say that we should pray for them which despitefully use us, and persecute us: LORD, open our minds to follow and obey YOU in this especially when the stubborn part of our will is reluctant to yield to YOURS.
