ON THIS DAY - September 29, 1913 WHARPILLA Bendigo Murder Case. At the Bendigo Court to-day, a boy David Clarence Freeman, was charged with having murdered a lad named Adam Anderson, by shooting, and then mutilating with an axe, at Wharparilla, on September 29. The Jury found that Freeman, who is dumb, was unable to plead, was ordered to be detained in Bendigo Gaol during the Governors pleasure.
