Gold Fields Australia has five Operations in Regional Western Australia and an Operations Support Office in West Perth. Role Details Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking an Operator: Pastefill to join their Processing team at Darlot. This role is offered on an 8 days on and 6 days off, 7 nights on and 7 days off and is FIFO from Perth. This is on a 6 months fixed term contract. Reporting to the Supervisor: Processing, you will be required to operate paste plant equipment and process plant equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner to maximise plant performance without adversely affecting the environment or the health and safety of personnel. Key Responsibilities will include: •Support the efficient operation of the processing systems and processes by providing reliable and accurate operational knowledge to minimise down time and potential loss of production or safety; •Identify and diagnose, where possible, items of paste and process plant that require preventative maintenance or repair. •Assisting with preventative maintenance on equipment through scheduled inspections, servicing and organising timely repair of operated equipment; •In situations where the Paste Plant will be shut down, unless directed by the Day Services Supervisor the Paste Fill operator will be required to work at the Processing Plant. Key factors to your success include; •Having previous experience working in a mineral processing environment; •Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment •Valid WA C Class Drivers Licence essential •Current Forklift, EWP and confined space license is desirable •Excellent communication skills; and, •Senior First Aid is an asset Join our Pride and start building your career with Gold Fields!
