***** OPINIONS PLEASE ***** ... this morning I drove my NEW car back into Hyundai for the SECOND time ... today to have the strips on the bonnet protector replaced, as who ever put them on in the first place did so with black fingers and left nice big permanent finger prints on the bonnet under the protector ... on my way home doing 100km a hour the bonnet protector flew up and jammed in an upright position DAMAGING THE PAINT WORK on my NOW NOT SO NEW CAR ... I rang the sales man and left a message ... NO REPLY and no call since ... a friend rang Hyundai on my behalf and also came all the way to Marian to remove the bonnet protector from the car to stop it doing more damage (the screws into the car were stripped) ... Hyundais offer ... we will reimburse the cost of the protector! I would love to hear what you consider appropriate compensation ... remember this is a BRAND new car with less than 1000km on the dial ... I have had nothing but stress with this NEW car and believe it or not I only replaced my perfectly good I30 as it was 7 years old and I wanted a reliable car ... and NO my last car NEVER gave me a moments worry in 7 years ... yet this new car has sent my stress levels through the roof and I have lost ALL confidence it the car. OPINIONS PLEASE as I am still to angry to talk to Hyundai and I am considering seeing a solicitor.
