***OREO IS LOOKING FOR LOVE*** A volunteer writes: Oreo is with us as his owner became too sick to care for him. This does not sit well with Oreo who does not like his kennel. Where is my home, my master? Who are all those people I never met? I do not want any of this…. It is tough for a ten year old to find himself in this predicament! Oreo was not welcoming in his den, to put it mildly…Getting him out was tough…It took me a good half hour for him to accept me and allow me to pet him and I finally got a smile on his face. Oreo walks well on the leash and is quite nice to other little dogs met. He eliminates on the way without marking. Back inside the care center, Oreo realizes that he is back to square one and again acts up…Well, there is a clear message here…. Oreo wants ……HOME and the love of a master. Simple, right… Oreo is at the Manhattan Care Center.
