OSUN LP RAISES ALARM OVER SCIENTIFIC RIGGING PLANS BY THE APC IN OSUN!!! Our members on ground have informed us of a plot by the APC to rig the upcoming Aug 9 Gubernatorial polls in Osun with the assistance and complicity of the current INEC Rec Commissioner Ambassador Rufus Akeju! It has been revealed that they are doing this by adopting a strategy of importing fake voters from neighboring Edo, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos States respectively towards compromising the ongoing voter registration exercise of new voters in Osun State which commenced on the 12th of March and is slated to end on the 19th of March. Reports have shown a large influx of non Osun indigenes at the Oshogbo terminus whom upon investigations were paid N1,000 each to board the trains and meet up with contacts at who then convey them to the location where the electoral fraud will be perpetrated! It has also come to our notice that the diabolical plot is being executed at all wards by the Excos of the party at the ward levels to the local government levels in connivance with INEC officials that have been instructed by the controversial REC Akeju who has been alleged to be a former PA of the former Governor of Lagos State to look the other way during the registration exercise! Youth Corpers that are being used to perpetrate these nefarious acts have raised the alarm in Ilesha, Iwo, Ede, Odo Otin, Ila, Boluwaduro, Ifelodun, Irepodun, Egbedore, Oshogbo, Olorunda, Atakumosa East and West local governments respectively. They have perfected the plot in partnership with some non existing parties in Osun State such as the NCP, UDP, UPP, PPA, ADC, PPP and MLPP whom are being represented at the polling units by known APC members with fake tags on their necks! These non existent parties are proxies for the Aregbesola administration in Osun and are being used to compromise the registration exercise! Members of other opposition parties are being restricted and systematically excluded from the ongoing registration exercise with a view to controlling the voters registration exercise as if it is an APC registration exercise!! You will recall that the LP raised an issue with the current REC whom we told Prof Attahiru Jega we have no trust in him as an unbiased umpire for the coming process. It is pertinent to state here that the voters registration exercise is as important as the voting exercise in itself and any comprise of this critical process by the APC will simply lead to a flawed exercise come Aug 9 2013! If the foundation is flawed we dare say that the INEC will be setting itself up for failure in Osun State! We implore all peace loving citizens of Osun to be vigilante and raise the alarm once they see these non residents in their midsts trying to obtain voters cards fraudulently. The antecedents of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in all elections that involve the APC is in the public domain; most notably his antics at the Ondo Gubernatorial elections and his alleged sponsorship of election riggers to Anambra state with a view to disrupting that particular election!
