Today is Reindeer Day Wednesday is Christmas Character Day Thursday will be Tacky Christmas Sweater Day Friday is Santa Day Please remember to follow dress code when you dress-up on these days. • African American Awareness Club All Members of the African American Awareness Club are reminded of the donation that is due today for The Soup Kitchen. Please pay one of your sponsors TODAY. • Library News All library books are due back in the library by FRIDAY. Students who wish to keep library books to read over the holidays MUST come renew their books for the holiday break. Make sure to tell the library staff you plan to keep them over Christmas break to keep from having late fines. The Virtual Book Club’s next meeting in the C Wing Student Center is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7 at 5:45 p.m. The book discussion through Google Hangouts with students across the US will feature a book of your choice, so be sure to bring a favorite book to share. Sign up in the library to attend. • Guidance News Students that are taking dual enrollment classes spring semester, please stop by Guidance to pick up information about books needed for the classes. Juniors who took the PSAT this fall, please see your counselor - Mrs. Zeiler or Mrs. Sherbert - to pick up your scores. Students who took the ASSET at Dorman this fall can see Mr. Mezzanotte in the Guidance Office to pick up their results. • DHS Step Team The DHS Step Team will have practice at 3:45 p.m. in room B133 today. Please see Ms. Byrd, Ms. Davis, or Ms. McCarroll if you will be unable to attend. • DHS GEMS The Dorman GEMS will have their last meeting for the semester tomorrow after school until 5 p.m. in room C106. This meeting is very important, so please plan to attend. • Beta Club Members You are reminded to donate canned goods by TODAY. Be sure to sign the roster with your grade level sponsor when you turn them in. Also, please stay after school TODAY in room B222, Mrs. Brewer’s room, to help load the cans. • Mr. Dorman Contest The deadline to sign up for the Mr. Dorman contest will be December 19th before we leave for break. So any guy interested needs to see Miss Cato in B220 to sign up. You don’t want to miss your chance to become Mr. Dorman High School 2015!!!
