OUR LOVING OWNER PASSED AWAY… SUDDENLY, WE WERE ALL ALONE… I am a 5 year old boy called Odin and I am pictured here with my brother Omega and our sisters, Odett, Olympia and Ostara. We have had a lot of changes in our lives recently and we are quite confused and scared. We had an owner who took very good care of us but she got very sick. The doctors told her she had something called cancer and she recently passed away. My siblings and I were all alone. There was no longer anybody to care for us all. We were all picked up in a truck and taken to a place called Soi Dog. I was worried we were going to be surrounded by dogs, but we were placed in an area called the Cat Suite. We had lots of soft beds to lie in and toys to play with, and some other cats we became friends with. Some of us are still finding it tough though. It has been a big change for us and we miss our owner. The humans here like to cuddle us and my brother Omega and sisters Olympia and Ostara do enjoy that. My sister Odett is very scared though. It will take her some time to get used to life here. I too am a bit scared but I am trying to be a big boy. If you sit beside me, I will let you pet me. I might even let you sit me on your lap and if you’re very lucky, I will purr. All of us hope that one day, we will have new owners. We have seen this happen already with some of our friends who were here in the Cat Suite. We don’t even have to go to the same home; we can be just as happy in separate homes and it would be so much better than living in a shelter. We are so lucky that all five of us could be taken in. It is thanks to a special group of Soi Dog supporters who belong to the Care for Cats Club. Their membership meant we could all be picked up and taken to safety. Can YOU do the same for another cat that needs help? We know there are many still out there, some who have never even known the love of an owner like we did. Please help Soi Dog care for them.
