OVER A CUP OF BREWED ITALIAN COFFEE ( Juz dined and done my 2nd coffee) 28/08/14.thursday.Palermo 1:40 pm. WHILE AT THE OFFICE THIS MORNING... My mind raced back to my boyhood days , my adolescent days and then suddenly my mind got enveloped of things i love so much to do. 1. Reading the Word of God every morning. We agreed with my wife, Belen to read one verse of Psalm.23 every morning as our basis of meditation and devotion. He restoreth my soul.He guideth me in paths of righteousness for His names sake. Weve had good sharing on, WHY DOES GOD RESTORE OUR SOULS, FOR WHAT REASON and SOUL GETS TIRED AND WEARY? 2. Then suddenly, What viand to cook? I love cooking for reason that i always want Belen will enjoy eating as it has been my practice for so many years now. I cooked chicken mixed with winter melon( tangkoy, kondol) carrots and sotanghon Seasoned with bagoong and lemon grass( baraniw) ginger, onions and garlic. I boil first the chicken or any meat here in italy and the first stroke of boiled water i throw for i considered it dirty. ANTIBIOTICS RESIDUE/ RESIDED IN THE SKIN AND FLESH? In the Philippines i dont do this with my favorite carabao meat. Only pork i boil and throw the first water. Pigs feed on hogmass and antibiotics for protection against hog cholera and etc. 4. I do not want to eat ORGANIC FRUITS for most of these fruits are treated with tetracy- cline insecticide. Banana and apples and grapes are constant visitors on the table. 5. Lastly, my guitar and harmonica. They are such great source of comfort when i know I needed to be comforted. Jeje. 6. I want to be honest.. the office is NOT MINE.TOOK THE ADVANTAGE OF FEELING LIKE A BOSS WHILE MY BOSS HAS BEEN ON LEAVE FOR 2 YEARS NOW. hahaha!!
