OVERTHRUST BECOMES BANKRUPT In August, 2012 Overthrust had a financial crises to run band activities as the band was sponsored by only one band member who was the only working band member and the other members were students in tertiary schools. So the landlord evicted the band from the yard where they had rented a room for rehearsals as they had failed to pay rent for 3 months they were summoned to P2565-00. Towards the end of 2012 the band decided to rehearse at Vulture and Godfather ‘place in Tshabantsa-Gantsi. The band financial crises went from better to worse after February 2013 and in July 2013 the band had a meeting and decided to suspend shows and other stuff so as to focus on fixing debts and recording an album in preparation for next year-2014.The rehearsal of old songs and composing of new tracks was on.
