OWELLE IS THE RIGHT LEADER IN THE WRONG PARTY: Im being forced to throw my full support for His Excellency Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha should he finally affirm his desire to rerun for election in 2015. Im not by any means influenced by personal interest or membership in any political party, not even Owelles APC, but I stand for truth. It will be unfair and implausible to say that Owelle so far has not performed. From a personal perspective, he has truely embarked on a rescue mission. He has achieved within a short time in office what the past two administrations could not achieve in a single tenure. Apart from his very popular project in Education, Owelles developmental stride in Imo state is obvious... The beautification and transformation of Owerri has brought the city to limelight. What about Orlu which Owelle has greatly aided its metamorphosis into a big city and fast becoming a tourist destination. Okigwe has gotton a share of Owelles developmental cake, likewise other communities in Imo state. Owelle has also helped upgrade various markets in the state to modern standards. He has as well not overlooked Agriculture as he aims to create more job opportunities and increase the states internally generated revenue. The youth must work programme of the present administration has provided jobs for youths. These and so many others means that Owelle is one of the top performing governors presently in Nigeria. Despite his good works, I have left one reservation within me, and that is his membership in the new party APC. Since the formation of APC about a year ago, there has been an almost unprecedented political crisis in Nigeria, which could well put the country in the risk of a war; I dont pray for that anyway. There have been claims and suspicions in various quarters that APC and its heads have an affiliation with the BOKO HARAM sect. Police in few states in south eastern Nigeria where APC governors are leaders have been alerted by rumoured influx of BOKO HARAM members. Over 270 were arrested few days ago in Rivers, while PDP in Imo State claims many others have been shown the way into Imo as 2015 election draws near. APC members have launched serious undemocratic attacks on president JONATHAN and series of Vitriolic criticisms and abuse, accusations and other treasonable offenses. Has APC come to better Nigeria or to wreak havoc?........, is the question I ask; time will tell whether the party will provide a satisfactory and positive answer to that. Yes, OWELLE is the right LEADER in the wrong party. ROCHAS the GREAT LEADER!!!
