Obadiah 1:17-18 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for The Lord hath spoken it. The Lord keeps a flame and a fire before His altar that His Truth and Holiness and Righteousness would prevail, and His Holy Word is the Seed that seethes in the pot to turn that which has been dead into that which by Him will become life. O Esau, what comfort of this world will be found when the true nature of the works of man are revealed? Do the eyes of The Lord not go to and fro that all is seen and nothing hidden? His word declares, what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? The costs surely outweigh the temporary sin that is convenient for a season. And be not joyous in a day when you see a man fall, when your hand does not reach out in mercy, be that person filled with evil or not, for it is the will of our Heavenly Father that ALL should come unto the knowledge of His saving grace and receive the salvation that He has so readily provided. Be a burning flame today wont you and let bowels of mercy and grace and compassion compel you to light the way in the darkness. Be blessed in Jesus name. Amen!
