Obedience To The Word. James 2:17 It is not enough to just believe the word of God. In all true essence, believe the word of God but don’t end there. Believing His word but not acting on it seems like you are reading an interesting book that speaks of marvellous things. You believe they are there and possible but not for you. That is not what the word is for. It is meant to build, transform, correct and conform us to the image of Christ. Reluctance to fully obeying it only says we refuse to grow. We are cutting ourselves short if we don’t act on the word of God. If we truly believe what His word says then we would, without doubt, know that we must also DO the word.
