Observation: Even though religion is something folks love to argue viciously about, I get the general feeling that the average person keeps a Youre entitled to your beliefs philosophy. It doesnt seem like modern folks have similar approach in regards to politics though. I was listening to some well reasoned criticisms some guy had for Obama the other day, but then he dove off the cliff of reason with If you voted for Obama youre anti-American. Think about the name Tea Party. Its a not so subtle way of saying Were freedom fighters trying to overthrow a tyrant. Its so disgusting to me that the major issues of our time cant be handled effectively. Congress people no longer compromise, because anything that gets done makes the other guy look good.
