Occams Razor applied to dating: Occams razor is a principle of succinctness used in logic and problem-solving. It states that among competing hypotheses, the hypothesis with the fewest assumptions should be selected. In lay mens terms, the simplest answer is the answer. People have a tendency to over complicate the complexity of their behavior often to mask the truth. For example, if the person is telling you that they need space to work on themselves in actuality they need you to back off so they can entertain someone else. Additionally, if someone is not ready to commit theyre basically telling you that theyre sleeping with other people. A simple principle but it provides a sound rationale when trying to understand the complexity of dating.
