Occasionally, the art direction on a project will change dramatically! I designed this #invitation for Wesley Spectrums 15th Annual Spring #Gala, and its a good example of how much a design can evolve. The original draft features my abstract interpretation of a beautiful quilt which was recently donated to the organization and will be on display at the gala. The #artwork also includes photography of the quilt. While my client really liked the design, they ultimately decided they wanted a more urban chic look. The finished save-the-date postcard features illustrations of various #Pittsburgh landmarks and a bright pop of teal. Additional materials for the event, including the formal invitation, will be coming in 2015!
