Many struggle with passing judgment and criticism on others. There is a difference between disproving of wrong or foolish behavior and wishing harm or judgment on another. As Christ followers it is not our place to judge others. Today’s quote reminds us; “If God were as bent on judgment as the world, the world would have been a heap of ruins long ago.” Even before God breathed life into Adam and Eve He saw the fate of man, our flaws and potential for sin. His patience is beyond human understanding; which is the reason for love and understanding. There will come a time every person will stand before God at the Great Judgment. Those who have been redeemed through faith in Christ are promised eternal life. God will see Christ and not our sins and failures. Unless we accept Christ we are spiritually dead in our sins. We have all sinned and deserve the judgment of God. Through Christ we receive eternal life and forgiveness, not eternal separation from God. Let us thank God for forgiveness. When exposed to sin it is natural to disapprove. Unless one is naive or living in denial it is becoming increasingly difficult to avoid. As the Spirit changes our heart we are able to avoid judgment and condemning those who alienate and offend. Pray for a heart of love to leave the final judgment to Christ and not how you feel towards others. Praise God He is slow to anger; waiting to offer forgiveness and a new life. I am thankful God has not punished me for what I deserve. God is Understanding,
