October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. If I would have had my mammogram when I was scheduled to have one I would have caught my cancer at an early stage. Chemo is HORRIBLE ladies. I ENCOURAGE you to get your mammograms and self examine your breast. Remind your family and friends to do the same.
