October is breast cancer awareness month...10 yrs ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, today I spent my morning at the Race for the Cure, not walking with the other survivors , but working, doing something I and passionate about , promoting awareness and early detection of this terrible disease...I had the chance to watch the first part of the survivor ceremony...I heard such great news ...99% of women who are diagnosed when breast cancer is at its earliest stage will SURVIVE!! I cant think of a better reason to get regular mammograms! Dont wait , make an appointment...get screened! Do it for your kids, I do it for mine! If you get screened ...leave a message!!
