Of course, all of us are relieved that Sgt. Bergdahl is no longer a captive. However, the agreement which led to his release raises a number of concerns: 1) Negotiating the release of a hostage could encourage more hostage-taking 2) Releasing five Taliban leaders increases danger to our troops 3) The President failed to comply with U.S. law and Congress, once again ignoring laws he finds inconvenient.
