Of late I am seeing different views are expressed about AK & AAP, - TopicsExpress

Of late I am seeing different views are expressed about AK & AAP, NAMO & BJP, RAGA & Congress etc., and about others. The current one is to discuss about AK & AAP. I will also post about others in the coming times. I am also coming across various expressions as to the intentions as to why they are behaving in such manner or what may be the purpose of the person or party etc. I am also observing the statements made at different forums which are either analytical or judgmental. After looking at the various reactions, I thought why not I analyse in my own manner without judging anyone. Analysis & Judgment are confused by many whereby at times, many are reaching to some or other conclusion without analysis or with limited analysis resulting in a judgment that is the feeling of the person expressing; analysis of a thing or situation does not necessarily result in any judgment but used for judgment. About 15-20 years back, whenever I was passing thorough the “Hussainsagar Lake” the surroundings were stinking so much that I was trying to avoid that route. Few times, I observed several labourers were working there and doing something, they were getting into the dirty water and throwing the dirt on the banks. Driving on the kacha roads, I even observed that the labourers were having their lunch adjacent to the dirt taken out. Today, Hussainsagar Lake is a tourist place and public place and we come across, lakhs of public, with families, spend their evenings. It taught me a lesion that those who step in dirt only can clean the dirt. Put the statement in another form, to clean the dirt, you have to step into the dirt. Further, a big debate has been going on for ages, all across the world, whether politics is a dirty game or not. If you search on Google, you will find supporting statements with empirical evidence for both sides. After going through various articles, I have come to a conclusion (in my own Judgment) – Politics are never dirty – majority politicians are dirty and they make politics dirty which gets cleaned at times by certain other politicians who are minority in number. Therefore, if AK and AAP have stepped into the dirt to clean the dirt, they may throw the dirt on the banks and we should not mind for their actions of making good lands dirty. Every one of us accept that we do come across, good politicians in every party albeit small in number. Further, the recent actions of AK & AAP were discussed at great length & breadth. I try to analyse their actions. After all, AK is a politician today and AAP is a registered political party. Along with others, even they are standing in the dirt and their job is to throw the dirt out. They have to play the dirty politics as much as others play to sustain and strength their standing. Everything is permitted in love and war and AK & AAP are in the war of some purpose. Those who read epics like “Ramayana & Mahabharatha” or who read “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu or read “Kautilya’s Rajaneethi do agree that there are no principles (rules) but only the purpose (result) to every war. AK has started playing the game and all the rules are what he states – when you invent a game you only set rules; whether the rules are constitutional or not have to be judged by the courts of the land but not by you and me. If AK agrees to play the game, the rules are set by others or opponents, we are sure, he will never win. Staging a “dharna” is one of the rules or processes to get attention of common public. Although, he is sitting in the constitutional position like CM of Delhi, it does not or cannot take away his status of a citizen who can protest certain things permitted under law. If 144 section was imposed at the place and AK violated the law, he deserves punishment. We are observing number of tactics adopted by various politicians to grab the attention of general public (voters) all across and AK’s actions are no exception. As usual, various sections of public (opposing AK & AAP) have started discussing about the actions of AK & AAP to judge instead of analysis. Somewhere, I feel that the opponents of AK & AAP have won because they even forced AK to rethink and assume that what the opponents are stating was right and he was wrong. I appreciate the opponents as they could achieve what they wanted, may be to a small extent. AK & AAP have started a game and are creating the rules what their opponents are wanting. The situation of AK & AAP can be better explained with the following short story A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home, a boy commented, ‘very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey?’ upon hearing that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them. Later, an old man saw it and commented, ‘the husband is the head of family. How can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?’ hearing this, the wife quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey. Further on the way home, they met an old lady. She commented, ‘how can the man ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman.’ The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they met a young man. He commented, ‘poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of two persons. They are cruel to you.’ Hearing that, the husband and wife immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders. It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a narrow bridge, the donkey was frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the past, not at present, and never will be in the future. Do not be too bothered by others’ words if your conscience is clear… coz one man’s meat could be another man’s poison.. My opinion based on the above - AK & AAP have the objectives that they want to achieve and may be willing to foray into national level or central level politics through the 2014 elections and if that is in their mind, need to strategize well because uncertainties are there but also they have to face most experienced & intelligent parties who are not against grabbing the voters by whatever be the means. For AK & AAP, now there is no option but to win else may have to cede power at Delhi too. One news item – “AAP leader Arvind Kejriwals meet with Muslim cleric Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan ahead of Assembly elections strikes controversy” tells me that AK & AAP will perform all those actions that are required to give them votes & seats. The only choice for AK & AAP is do whatever they have to do to come into power, by all means as their opponents and once in power, pursue their objectives or perish. Politics is definitely a game • We don’t vote for our PM/CM, we vote for our local candidate. This is true for either party. • All party’s play their own version of internal politics, which in turn play a part in the election of the leader. • When a party wins a majority of seats, the leader of that party becomes the PM/CM. • If neither party wins an outright majority, then the leader that can negotiate successfully with the minor parties and independents, gets to form government and then becomes PM/CM ( As is happening). • Party’s can and do change leaders if they can see political and or electoral advantage in a change.
