Of my lover, I will never demand expensive gifts, or outrageous shows of affection, no, because something in me knows it is not right to demand these things. But that is not to say that I do not or will not crave such things. Because honest to Gods, it is sweet to see someone love you so much that they take time out from their busy schedules just for you, or spend out of their meagre income to surprise you with, say, a huge bouquet of roses. True, external shows are not what define love, but contrary to what most people think, such gestures, when done willingly, actually serve to drastically strengthen the bond of love. So sue me (or call me greedy), but I confess; the child in me wants to be pampered like a little baby once in a while. And while I am vehemently against over-expenditure, I am not ashamed to confess that I do crave cute little surprises sometimes.
