Of my three sisters Jean and I were the closest in age, she was five years older. She was short, 52 and Im 55, so she called me her big little sister! We had a real connection, kinda spiritual and a little spookie at times. Once when I was visiting her in GA, I was living in CA at the time, I saw she had made the same curtains for her kitchen windows out of the same fabric I had made for mine, a coincidence? When we decided to stop yacking and get dressed she said OK, lets meet in the kchen in 15 min and well go antiquing. Times up, we met in the kitchen both wearing the same dress, one bought in GA, one in CA. Many times I would be thinking of her, or vice versa, and the phone would ring and it would be her. When I would be feeling low the phone would ring and it would be her. Fate separated us, but we were never apart.
