INTE-804262 Description The intern will gain practical experience in retail sales. All aspects of wine and food matching; wine tasting skills. Craft Beer and its explosion onto the Irish scene. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following: Microsoft Word, Excel. On completion the intern will have attained skills in: wine sales, merchandising, stock maintenance, stock input and stocktaking. Rotation of stock, gift wrapping and in store floor displays, customer care, sales skills, the new Craft Beer Industry in Ireland how to promote it in house with food matching etc. Skills Requirements Willing to work as part of a team. Friendly and outgoing. Imaginative and creative and with a flair for gift hamper preparation. Keen to learn. Would need to be flexible regarding working hours. Nights and weekends are all part of the work. Please Note: This is an Internship. An allowance of €50 per week will be paid in addition to your current Social Welfare payment.See eligibility criteria above.
