Off Topic: I, having suffered with overwhelming postpartum depression which requires medication, can tell you that in the height of my suffering I could not make rational decisions. There was so much fear and anxiety that I was literally consumed by its darkness. I can only describe that in those moments my heart felt truly black. So, while Robin Williams died by his own hand and he has caused an undeniably massive amount of grief for his family and friends, he died, in my opinion, because he was unable to control the depths of his own despair and a portion of his choice capacity was no longer accessible to him. The lesson here is, if you are sad, anxious, lonely, discouraged - please talk to someone - anyone. Sometimes it takes the rational thoughts of a friend to help us overcome our irrational emotions and understand there are better paths to take.
