UPDATED GROUP RULES – PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ **Sorry that this is lengthy - we just want to make sure we cover everything** These items are free and the purpose of the group is to try and keep things out of the dump. We discourage asking for delivery of the items you are interested in. If you can’t go get it, don’t ask for it. You will be banned if it gets out of hand. 1. Follow this format. ISOS: Baby girl clothes 0-3m, 3-6m in and around Layton. 2. DO NOT include the reason you need them (aka no sob stories). 3. Keep it simple but be specific. Posts like “anything for a baby” or “anything for an apartment” will not be approved. 4. We do not allow ISOS posts to be bumped. If we see an ISOS being bumped (we can tell) we will delete it. 5. Do not use the words “low cost” or “cheap” because we they give the idea that it’s OK to try and sell to you. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TELLING PPL IT MUST BE FREE THATS OBVIOUSE 6. We do not have the time to message you if you’re ISOS isn’t being approved. Message an admin if you have questions. 7. Do not try to take something that is being offered to someone else in their ISOS post. Its very inconsiderate and could get you banned. 8. Do not turn around and sell the items you get here. If we see it, you will be banned. For this reason we do not allow ISOS for scrap metal. Or other items that are often resold or refurbished and sold. If we feel the item(s) you are asking for is to resell we reserve the right to deny your post OFFERS: 1. You may give your items on a first come first serve basis. You do NOT have to go in order but please do be considerate to all who are interested. 2. Include as many specifics as possible about the item such as size, location, condition. 3. Trades are OK within reason. For ex: Girls clothes for boys clothes, gas dryer for electric dryer, etc. 4. Offers may be bumped once a day. 5. NO SELLING, PROMOTION, ADVERTISING, of any kind. *Free samples aren’t really free if you are building a customer base from them. 6. Don’t be grabby. Please only take things you really need. If we see the same person trying to get every item offered you may be banned. 7. Effective 7/14 We will not approve offers for items left on the curb without prior admin approval. We have had 2 posts in the last week where the person giving the stuff was no longer living in the house so they couldnt tell anyone if the stuff was still there. Its a waste of time and gas for people to drive over there only to find the stuff is gone. **ISOS or OFFERS for medical supplies or anything else youd need a prescription or doctors approval for WILL NOT BE APPROVED** Thank you for your understanding. All ISOS and OFFERS must be for tangible items only. Votes, referrals, etc. are not tangible. **PETS*** EXCEPTION TO THE FREE RULE: It is recommended that you always offer a minimum $5 for cat/kitten and $25 for dog/puppy as a re-homing fee. This IS allowed in our group. We will not tolerate ANY rude, disrespectful or abusive treatment of other members. We don’t give warnings when we ban members.
