Office for Victims of Crime Web Forum on Elder Financial Exploitation The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) will present a web forum on intersections between elder financial exploitation and other types of elder abuse on December 4th at 2:00pm EST. The discussion will feature Jeannie Beidler, who, when her own grandparents were being a abused, advocated on their behalf and has remained an active elder advocate, and Shelly L. Jackson, Ph.D., who is a visiting fellow at OVC and was previously a research professor at the Institute of Law, Psychiatry and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.
