Officially less than 1 week until we return for a double dose of treatment, we were really crossing our fingers and praying for the week to run its course with no side effects....no such luck. Aydain is very very sensitive to many of his treatments( a few scary allergic reactions), many rashes, medications and treatment variations have been utilized in the last 10 months to keep Aydain safe and comfortable. The dosage of Accutane seems to be too much for his little body to handle and will most likely be adjusted in the morning to suit his needs. Besides his new sleep pattern ( up until one in the morning) and swollen eye, we are having to sneak chapstick and aquaphore on to his swollen, cracked and bleeding lips to keep him from picking them. These little babies go through so much just to survive and still only receive %4 of governmental funding to help in finding new treatments and hopefully a cure someday. Please keep sharing Aydains story, keep Mae, Kylie, Julia, Caroline, Parker and the countless other brave little ones in your prayers. Go Gold not only in September but all year round. #AydainsArmy you are incredible!
