Often I glance at FB and simply scan through the posts! But today, it is my prayer that as you scan through that Holy Spirit will cause you to take pause and pray for this little guy and his family. I have never met Sara Hudson or her husband. I only know of this situation as a result of getting my eyes examined by Saras father, Dr Steve Gamblin. But through these weeks of intercession I feel kinship to them. The following transcript is an urgent plea from a heavy and weary mother. Take a moment, give pause, pray, AND believe! For all things are possible to them that believe...! Here is Saras plea: Sara Hudson 13 hours ago I know I havent given a detailed update in a while, but thats because not much is happening. Ben is kind of at a stand still and even taking some small steps back. His kidney function continues declining and he is having to get additional medication to help with it (hopefully). He is able to wean a little on the vent but then needs it turned back up again. His diastolic dysfunction has not seeme...d to have any significant improvement in the past 2 months. We need lots of prayers that God will perform a miracle for our brave Ben. We will be having another care conference with Bens doctors and primary team sometime this week. Praying that God makes the answer of what Ben needs clear to all of us... Sara Hudson 9 hours ago Ben is stressing us out today... He hasnt peed since noon. If he doesnt go soon they will ultrasound his bladder to make sure hes making urine and then in and out cath him... pray for pee.
