Often times we hear, Barry confessed. He must be guilty Lets take a look at the confession: 1) Barry stated the murder took place in Wolf Point. The murder took place in Poplar. Certainly he would have remembered WHERE the murder took place, wouldnt he? 2) Barry stated that Kim exited the drivers side of the pick up truck. We know for fact that Kim did not exit the drivers side. The amount of blood in the front seat of the pick up truck proves that Kim was dead or near death when she was dragged out the passenger side door. Not to mention not a single trace of blood was found on the drivers side of the pick up truck. 3) Barry states in the confession that he choked Kim. According to the autopsy report, Kim was not choked. 4) Barry states that he put Kim in a garbage bag feet first and dragged her by her shoulders, face up, but the autopsy showed bruising on her upper body, consistent with being dragged by her feet. 5) No garbage bag or remnants of a garbage bag were ever found. 6) Barry stated that Kim was wearing a brown sports jacket and that he threw it in to the river next to her body. No brown sports jacket was found. Instead there was a sweater neatly folded on top of her purse next to the pick up truck. Does a man in a fit of rage take the time to fold a sweater? 7) Regarding Kims purse, Barry stated in his confession that Kims purse was sitting between them on the front seat of the pick up truck. However, Kims purse was found sitting outside the pick up truck with the sweater folded on top of it, according to crime scene photographs. 8) Barry states he tossed the keys to the pick up truck in to the river. Divers never found the keys or the weapon. 9) There were seven clumps of hair found at the scene. No where in the confession does Barry state that Kim pulled his hair, or he pulled hers. 10) No where in the confession does Barry state that he took Kims necklace off. Yet several other individuals, including Sissy Atkinson, have claimed to have had possession of Kims necklace after that fatal night. The bottom line is this, the confession does not fit the crime scene. Let the physical evidence speak the truth. Match the palm print and tell us, WHO REALLY KILLED KIM? Its really not that difficult ! So why is it the State of Montana wants to keep the truth from everyone?
