Often we throw ourselves into things and make big promises to God. We tell Him that we will serve Him unreservedly, do anything for Him, and then we wait expectantly for Him to do His part and open up our life purpose and destiny before us. But when God doesn’t respond immediately, we begin to waver. Maybe you have done a lot of asking of God and want to know, “When is the receiving?” You may have been praying for a particular person to get saved, for a marriage or other relationship to be restored, for a business or financial breakthrough, for a miraculous healing. You’ve asked, but you’ve not yet received. I want to encourage you not to give up! Don’t waver. Keep believing and keep waiting patiently. He who promised is faithful!
