Oh Friday! Im SO happy to see you! Had to check myself before I wrecked myself a lot this week! Scott was gone, I had an unexpected huge PR hit and investor interviews for my biggest client + 2 new clients. Felt very challenged to let it all go when the kids got home from school each day. Especially after I just came from a speaking event last week hollering about work life balance! #irony I wasnt perfect and tried to sneak back into my office last night and the kids were all over me within minutes. Why dont they do that when Im unloading the dishwasher?! I could feel it was a bad choice right away, reset, went upstairs and started cleaning the kids rooms with them (had to do something with that anxious energy). Felt better within an hour or so and we had a sweet eve together. I will say that of all the voices in my head Im happiest when I listen to my own. I didnt get to all the work I would have liked to but its still there for me to do today without trading kid time for it.
