Oh, Ive seen slower connections - but I recall 110 baud, where Id twiddle my thumbs waiting for the text to write across the screen. Farcebroke wont load posts, Mapquest wont load maps, even Wikipedia cant load pages. But I guess I can send - it lands even if it takes 5 minutes to get there, I suppoze. Drivin across Illinois and Indiana was... wet. Lousy visibility, but nothin much to see anywho. Ohio was dry for about 20 miles, then water started fallin from the sky there, too. Maybe the states that start with a vowel just hate me? I dont much like turnpikes - the tolls arent the issue, its the lack of variety in food/gas vendors along the way that bug me. Ill faint from hunger before I eat at Burger King - though I found a Hardees, so there was sustenance. I found Cleveland, and will hit the Rock & Roll Museum in the mourning, before I get back to headin East. I made my miles today - I should be in Grafton by mid-mourning on Tuesday, and give Christopher a ride. Internet aint workin, but Ive got a couple of weeks worth of tunes on the data drive, and even Mickeysquish Media Player cant screw that up. Theres supposed to be enhanced channels on the TV, but that aint my thang. Some person who will go unnamed evaporated the first pint of margaritas, but made another quart of em - so I think Ill curl up in bed with a good book, a cold glass, and some warm memories. If the net is better tomorrow mourning, Ill cheque in then - else, Ill log in tomorrow night from close to Grafton. This is my adventure, so I gotta wonder - which is worse, dysfunctional internet or snarly dragons? Ive got the sword for the latter - but it dont impress the former. :P
