Oh Mercy Mercy Me! Colin Young was born in Barbados but chose to stay in England after holiday there with his father in the mid 60’s. While he was a singer known for being a member of the British soul band “The Foundations”, down here we knew him when he was the lead singer for the group “Mercy, Mercy”.
