Oh dear - Peter Harrison is not too happy with me! Just after 1am he jumped up saying something had crawled over his hand - I hunted high & low, spraying Maton as I went, but could find nothing. Eventually got back to bed and sleep! This morning I found a few flies in the room, so told him it had just been a fly...... Cleaning the bedroom about an hour ago I found the fly in the corner of the room - a 7 inch red centipede! Captured it under a clear bowl, turned my back & the bloody thing escaped under the chest of drawers! Copious quantities of Maton followed it, then we moved the chest of drawers & recaptured it! I have just managed to dispose of the body, after 45 minutes of it doing its death dance....... plucked up courage to get it on the shovel & throw it over the wall and the damn thing wiggled a bit, then wandered off!!!!!!! How tough are these creatures? Note to self - remember to check everywhere before bed tonight!!!! :-(
