Oh dear. I went looking for videos on beard trimming so I can tame the shrubbery before I get into right-wing duck call salesman territory, and man, the world of beard cultivation is as horrifyingly beset with mandouchieness as the subjects of coffee, beer, wine, bicycles, guitar effects, bow ties, and motorcycles. Watching a guy in an 1890s beard in a damn bowler earnestly telling you how to trim your beard is so much like a Portlandia sketch that I can hardly stand it, but at least I found the info I needed. That said, anything that has us drift away from the sort of shaved and shiny delusion of the permanent golden-boy California youth always chasing the perfect curl is a good thing, so Ill take it, even with [eye roll] the goddamn bowler hats. Plus, dudes go koo-koo for face fur, it turns out, so Im keeping mine.
