Oh, for Petes sake!! Here I am writing up my eBay listings and Ive got reruns of Antique Roadshow on in the background. I look up as two sisters, appear to be in their 30s or so, are having the Tiffany Lamp that their mother bought from a lady for $125 years ago appraised. Its gorgeous and you just know its worth a lot as the appraiser gushes over it. Of course the appraiser drags it out while the women wait full of anticipation. They are clutching each others hands and bracing themselves. Finally, they are told that its worth from $80,000 to $125,00 and one of the sisters starts sobbing. I have no idea why she is crying, whether her family is in desperate need of money, maybe she is just feeling so happy that her mothers lamp was worth so much or who even knows? And then guess who else is crying??? Yep, thats me, crying right along with the woman on t.v. when I dont even know why she is crying!! And that is why I say .. oh, for Petes Sake!
