Oh musicians of Monterey I say to you, run flee this city as fast as you can for this city is not ready for your spirit. They do not recognize your divine gift. They will not listen, they will look away, they will shun you and place you in a corner of their city among the homeless and beggars and soon your spirit will be extinguished no longer serving your passion the divine spirit of music. You will find yourself working in coffee houses and restaurants and retail stores and movies houses serving the people of Monterey in other ways. This my friends will slowly eat away at you till you no longer believe in the power of music that is within you. Soon you will become one of them working to live instead of living you work and shining your love of life for all the world to see. I say to you young musicians of of Monterey play your music that is in you dont be fooled by the comfortable illusion of working 9-5 you will wallow in frustration knowing that you have passed up your passion for the promise that does not fulfill.Get away before its too late and you are no longer filled with the spirit of music. There is a city not far from here that will embrace your kind and lift you up and place you up high like a light for all to see. Here they will be open to your kind and build you up and share your enthusiasm for life, not strike you down and make you feel less than what you really are. I say to you young musicians flee as fast as you can I have lived in the citys who love your kind and who are happy to embrace your gift of music and will rejoice in hearing your voice and smile and be uplifted and share your enthusiasm for life. For I know I am the spirit of music and will continue to light the hearts and souls of all those men and women who are open to share this divine gift of love.
