Oh my God, this week in fiction writing: I think Im switching from third person narration to first. Which might/probably/does require a complete rewrite. Having trouble pulling the plug here. Creative agony, you might even call it. Been reading scholarly stuff about great narrators in literature to get my head right + help me make the right decision for the right reason/s. Thing is, all analysis aside, Im a reader who loves a first person story (obviously) and in fact, sometimes, I have real trouble warming up to a third person novel, even my own. What to do, what to do... (Start by going off line? Good thinking. Just needed a quick vent.)
