Oh my gosh! 20 years ago today, I nervously walked myself down to the Registry of Joint Stocks and asked to make a new company. What kind of company? asked an officious, bespectacled woman. I want to make movies, I said. She tilted her head a bit skeptically. Name? she asked. Emotion Pictures, said I. It should be movies or films or productions, she advised. I thought for a second and shrugged, Those are all pictures-- just a lot of them, going by really fast. So many--Hundreds-- of you friends have worked with, for, in spite of, and in collaboration with Emotion Pictures these 20 years. You brought my dreams to life. I thank you and salute you.
