Oh, so pleased. Coming to the end of the love story I have been internally writing for a few lifetimes. I had over 100 pages of accumulated notes before I even started, because it just wanted to be written long before I sat down to find the words. It has been constantly humbling- I mean, if you want to know how little you know about love, try writing a book about it- but it has also been exciting to craft a story that touches the heights of ecstasy and the depths of despair. Sounds familiar, right? An excerpt, more to come... I met her when I most expected it. I felt Rachel entering my heart weeks before we met in real time. She was quietly everywhere- a distant harp, a subtle shift in wind direction, a whisper of longing that called me home. I felt her in my bones, in my breath, in the sudden and inexplicable lifting of my weary spirit. She was orbiting me, close at heart, eagerly awaiting our cosmic re-acquaintance. The call of the beloved.
